What time is Check-In and Check-Out?
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Early check-ins and late check-outs may not always be accommodated. We are pleased to offer luggage storage for guests enjoying the area outside of designated check-in and check-out times.
Do you offer breakfast?
Included is a continental breakfast is from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM The breakfast items are cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, milk & orange juice.
Can I book a room online?
No. All room bookings are done through in house only. You can call Poplar Springs Inn at 540-788-4600 and leave a message and our Inn Manager will call you back or send us an email at poplarinn@themanorsva.com and we will reply.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy for Inn Buyout - In the event of cancellation for any reason, Poplar Springs Inn must be notified in writing. In the event of cancellation $500 will be non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy for Room Blocks - Guests may cancel up to 72 hours prior to check-in date or full payment for reservation will be charged.
Do you allow smoking?
Poplar Springs Inn is non-smoking, although our inn does have a designated outdoor smoking area. Any violation will result in an automatic $250 fine charged to the credit card on file.
What is your policy on damages?
In the event of excessive damage or cleaning needs, an additional fee will be automatically charged to your card on file upon check-out. Assessment of this fee is at the discretion of the Poplar Springs Inn.
Do you allow children?
Children of any age are welcome as long as accompanied by an adult.
Can I add an extra bed in my room?
In select guestrooms, we are able to add a rollaway folding twin size cot. Pack-and-play crib may also be added to select guestrooms at no additional cost. We have two cots and one pack & play.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not permitted inside Poplar Springs Inn.
What are your amenities?

Yes. Poplar Spring Day Spa offers massages and facials only. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling the Spa at 540-788-3410.

"My husband and I have been together for 8 years by the time we got married, so we had been dreaming about finding the perfect place to celebrate with our friends and family for a while. We looked throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland, but nothing felt quite right until we found The Manors. Poplar blew us away. The Inn on site is extremely convenient- we did a buyout so that the wedding party and our family & a few out-of-town guests could stay on-site with us. This made rehearsal dinner, wedding, and the goodbye-brunch run super smoothly because everyone was on site the whole time. It also let us spend more time with our loved ones than we would have otherwise - we could gather around the fire pits or by the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we felt very welcomed!
The ballroom is gorgeous, and the smaller ballroom has gorgeous stone with incredible character. We wanted a venue that had amble indoor space in case of rain, and this knocked it out of the park! All our vendors had great things to say about working with Poplar staff, and our wedding day ran SO smoothly. The getting-ready spaces were spacious and conveniently located.
It was nice for the wedding party to be able to run back and forth between the rooms on site during the chaotic prep hours!
The in-house wedding coordinator did an amazing job planning our ceremony and reception- everything from the layout of the ceremony to the linens and signature drinks, they had an answer to all of our questions and was super communicative throughout the whole process. I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone at Poplar for making our dream day a reality!"
